ABOUT US
MISSION

AEMWIA is an NGO in SOUTH AFRICA directly benefitting over 600,000 children every year through more than 250 live welfare projects on education, healthcare, livelihood and women empowerment, in over 950 remote villages and slumsacross 25 states of SOUTH AFRICA. Alliance Enfants du Monde (World Infants Alliance) brings together young men and women from all walks of life in pursuit of its noble objectives in the service of children across the globe for a better world socio-economic and political order. It is an Organization of youth who are mindful of the need to give abandoned, sick and rejected children and orphans the opportunity to live, grow and be educated.Education is both the means as well as the end to a better life: the means because it empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood and the end because it increases one's awareness on a range of issues – from healthcare to appropriate social behaviour to understanding one's rights – and in the process help him/her evolve as a better citizen. Doubtless, education is the most powerful catalyst for social transformation. But child education cannot be done in isolation. A child will go to school only if the family, particularly the mother, is assured of healthcare and empowered. Moreover, when an elder sibling is relevantly skilled to be employable and begins earning, the journey of empowerment continues beyond the present generation. Realizing this, Aemwia an NGO in SOUTH AFRICA, is a great startup which provides shelter, Education and growth to Orphans and sick for their betterment and comfortable life.

VISION

Be someone's sunshine when their skies are grey.
The Aims and Objectives of Alliance Enfants Du Monde (World Infant Alliance) are as follows:
. 1. Promote the Education and exposure across Ghana through the use of games, digital and technology. Expose students to the many advantages in learning New technologies today.
2. Adopt highest standards of governance to emerge as a leading knowledge and technology driven, innovative and scalable international development organisation.
3.Enable the civil society across the world to engage proactively in the change process through the philosophy of civic driven change.
4. Work as a catalyst in bringing sustainable change in the lives of underprivileged children, youth and women, with a life-cycle approach of development.
5.As the saying goes, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” Instead of “giving fish” to help children short term, we teach leaders how to transition their orphanages into Centers for Excellence.

WORKING MODEL

The ‘RIGHT’ Way of Working:-
AEMWIA alone is not a lasting solution to enable change for the millions of children living in India today, who have little or no access to food or education and are exploited daily. A rights-based approach ensures that entitlements are available to all children without any discrimination. They are universal and non–negotiable. Along with our project partners, AEMWIA ensures that the government fulflls their duty by providing the necessary infrastructure and services as per the needs of the people and at the best quality possible. We believe that the best interest of the child needs to be put at the centre of all policy, legislation and practices affecting their lives.
Our PROCESS:-
1.Identify the problem:-Any issue that causes a child rights violation like deprivation from education ,shelter and food , is the major sympton for the worst life of orphans. We identify the problems and work with the communities to demand accountability from the government and permanent solutions to mitigate the impact of these deep-rooted problems on children.
2.Mobilise Local Communities :-
Through interactions, workshops and trainings with communities, we make them aware about their duties towards orphans and sick childrens.Their involvement must for the change in the dark life of orphans. We also form or participate in networks and alliances to lobby for child-friendly policies.
3.Get Public Support:-
We generate funds and resources (voice, time, skills) from individuals like you and through institutional partnerships. We encourage people from all walks of life to contribute in creating an environment in which orphans can enjoy their basic rights and they also lead the happy life.
4.Enable Change:-
Thus AEMWIA works towards ensuring orphans and sick childrens live, education, shelter, play, express themselves…bringing about lasting change in their lives.

APPROACH

AEMWIA believes that education is both the means as well as the end to a better life: the means because it empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood and the end because it increases one's awareness on a range of issues - from healthcare to appropriate social behaviour to understanding one's rights - and in the process help him/her evolve as a better citizen. Education is the most effective tool which helps children build a strong foundation; enabling them to free themselves from the vicious cycle of ignorance, poverty and disease. AEMWIA realised that Education for Children cannot be achieved without the family, particularly, unless the mother is assured of health care and empowered. Moreover, when an elder sibling is educated and relevantly skilled to be employable and begins earning, the journey of empowerment continues beyond the present generation. AEMWIA extended its thematic areas of intervention by supporting family health, livelihood, and women empowerment. Children, their families and the community become the target group for Smile Foundation's activities as child education cannot be done in isolation and nothing else but education for children can bring long lasting change in the society.
